okey dokey lokey!

Ich gebe zu, ich bin ein riesiger Fan von My little Pony - Friendship is magic. Ich hab alle Folgen auf Youtube gesehen und mich köstlich amüsiert. Jetzt kann ich Staffel 2 kaum erwarten. 

Ich liebe Pinkie Pie und ihre Songs. Deswegen mache ich gerade ein Pinkie Pie Kissen. Dazu habe ich ihr "cutie mark" auf das Stück gestickt, das ich letzte Woche gehäkelt habe. Jetzt muss ich nur noch die Rückseite fertig häkeln und dann kann ich die Seiten zusammennähen und einen mähnenähnlichen pinken Rand anfügen.

I love Pinkie Pie and her songs. That's why I'm working on a Pinkie Pillow! I cross-stitched her cutie mark onto the piece of fabric I crocheted last week. When I'm done crocheting the back side of the pillow, I'm going to sew the pieces together and add a mane-ish border in pink.

Und noch mal tunesisches Häkeln - Tunisian crochet revisited

Letztes Wochenende war ich bei einem Fabrikverkauf und habe eine große Menge von rosa- und pinkfarbenem Garn erworben. Daraus werde ich ein Kissen machen, das mit einem Muster bestickt werden soll, deswegen bin ich nochmal auf das Tunesische Häkeln zurückgekommen. Der erste Teil wird gerade geglättet.

Last weekend, I visited a yarn outlet nearby and came home with a nice stash of pink and rose colored yarn. My current project is a small pillow with embroideries, that's why I'm doing tunisian crochet again. I'm blocking the first part at the moment.

Weniger sauer als gedacht - less sour than expected

Irgendwie sind die Zitronen dann doch Birnen geworden. Eigentlich wollte ich die einzelnen Schritte detailliert darstellen, aber ich hatte meinen Fotoapparat kurzzeitig verlegt. 

Allerdings werde bald ich wohl noch ein derartiges Cape machen. Dann mit Bastelanleitung.

The lemons somehow turned into pears. I wanted to do a guide, showing all the steps necessary, but I couldn't find my camera during the weekend. I'll catch up with that when I'm crocheting the next one (yes, there will be another one...).

Noch mehr Fruchtcapes! - Fruitcapes all the way!

Da das Erdbeercape ganz gut ankam, mache ich jetzt eine Zitronenversion für meine Mutter. Ich habe den Schulterbereich mit einem Reliefmuster verstärkt. 

Since the strawberry cape turned out to be quite popular, I'm doing a lemon version for my mother. I used a pattern with back and front post stitches to reinforce the shoulder part.
